I’ve homeschooled both my boys. The one from Grade 3 and the youngest from preschool. Both are very polite, outgoing kids and very sociable. The participate in sport at private clubs and communicate with a variety of other kids. They do make friends very quickly. Their general knowledge is better than most kids of their age and they are more mature than most kids of their age. The youngest one was hiperactive and it was the best solution for him. The one day he refused totally to do any school but the next day he worked the entire day. In a public school, especialy in South Africa he would be marked as a naughty child and punished a lot. With homeschooling he thrived and is actually very intelligent because I let him work at his own pace. 3 Years ago I put them over on a American system. Both are finished with their school going years and are studying in the IT field. They know about everything that goes on in the world, because I encourage them to read a lot about everything. I think it depends on the mother if there is going to be any con’s with homeschooling.
